1. Oversized sweater with jeans
An oversized sweater is one of my favorite fall clothing items. I definitely prefer it over a cropped sweater in the comfortability department. This look pairs your favorite oversized sweater with a cute pair of jeans!
This outfit is perfect for going out to dinner with your friends or just lounging around the house. It is honestly so great for the fall weather!
2. Cropped sweater with dresses
Next on the list is a cropped sweater with a dress. This outfit would be best for a warmer day where you still want to be cute! I love pairing a similarly colored sweater with a dress.
Usually, my go-to is a blue sweater and blue dress! It is so fun to go all monochrome, but if you want to spice things up, then go for it. As always, it is always up to your style and clothing preferences.
3. Oversized sweater with dresses
This outfit is similar to the previous one, but instead of a cropped sweater, you are going to use an oversized sweater. This look is extra cozy and gives me mega fall vibes! Just as a quick lil pointer, I would suggest having your dress longer than the sweater.
It’s super cute when part of the dress is just peeking out under your sweater and will look better than just seeing the oversized sweater. My favorite oversized sweater is the red one and I love pairing it with a cute red dress. When you pair your sweaters with more summery dresses, you are truly utilizing everything in your closet.
4. Cropped sweater with skirts
This is one of my go-to fall school outfits. I have a minor skirt obsession, but it can often be too cold just to wear a skirt and a t-shirt. That’s why I like to add a cropped sweater so I can stay nice and cozy!
My favorite outfit with these two pieces is a plain sweater with a brightly patterned skirt. You can also do the other way around. This outfit could also look more sophisticated if you did an all monochrome look or more fun if you use all patterns.
5. Oversized sweater with flowy pants
This outfit is my absolute favorite. As someone who’s an advocate for comfy yet stylish clothes, this one is perfect. This look gives me mega warm and cozy vibes. To make this outfit, pair your favorite oversized sweater with some flowy pants.
This look is perfect for staying at home to shopping at your local grocery store. Out of all of these sweater pairings, this one is 100% my style! What’s yours?
